Hi everyone im new to this group . I had a scan on my thyriod been told i have two nodules 4mm on left and 7mm on right . I've had my kidney removed in jan for renal cell carcinoma. It was contained to kidney and low grade . Spoken to my renal consultant he said never heard of it going to thyriod . Had ct scan before ultrasound no spread . Any advice .

Thyroid nodules <1cm are rarely malignant. They are very slow growing and won't be able to be fine needle aspiration biopsied until they are >1cm if they show suspicious characteristics.
Thyroid nodules are very common and 95% are benign. It is rare for adults to die without having one or two nodules.
