Where Can I purchase T3

Hello. Can anyone tell me where to buy T3 online please. I’ve been on levothyroxine for 10 years now but my symptoms have increased in the past year which is causing me to feel very unwell so was hoping T3 would help.

I would be surprised if a doctor would prescribe it. I take thyroid s which I ordered online from Thailand. Started on very low dose to carry me through until I see an endocrinologist. If I still don't get help I will increase slightly after. I am and would also suggest first looking at T3 is low. I believe inflammation as in hashimotos can affect how T4 is converted to T3. Also. Vitamin deficiencies

kathryn79 As you are a new member and there is nothing in your profile, members are more likely to share their source of T3 if you share a little more information.

However, before adding T3, it's most important that all the building blocks are in place for Levo to work and T4 to T4 conversion to take place. To do that you need vitamin and minerals testing to see if there are any deficiencies, thyroid hormone can't work unless these levels are optimal, so

Vit D

B12

Folate

Ferritin

plus Thyroid Antibodies to see if you have autoimmune thyroid disease.

If you post your current test results - TSH, FT4 and FT3 - we can suggest how much T3 to take and whether adusting your Levo is necessary if you do appear to need to add T3.
