While it is fine to delete your post before you have had any replies it is very annoying, and discourteous, to delete posts after members have taken the trouble and time to reply.
There are a few members who do this regularly. Please stop doing so or you will find that members will make a note of who you are and they will refrain from answering you in the future and may even pass your name on to other members who may also decide to ignore your posts.

Thank you for posting this issue . While we are all here to help educate inspire and empower one another it would be very disrespectful and hurtful to delete questions and answers so that we can all learn for now and for future times when we want to refer to QA that we might have and learn from . THANK YOU SO MUCH CLUTTER FOR YOUR THOUGHTFULNESS AND SENSATIVITY ... Towards thyroid patients who come and seek answers for their thyroid issues that Dr's don't seem to know nor care . Thank G-D for this GREAT FORUM that we thyroid patients have where to turn to to bounce off of other thyroid patients for our thyroid QA and dilemmas .
It does upset members when posts with replies are deleted and, as you said, it prevents other members who may not be confident enough to post from benefitting from the replies.
I totally agree with you Clutter . I know how much I personally benefited and continue to benefit from this GREAT FORUM and I know I'm not alone. We all benefit by thyroid members wonderful questions and the answers that are provided by thyroid members . If we would have Endo/Dr's that would treat us thyroid patients as we ought to be treated "OPTIMALY" there wouldn't be a need for thyroid forums as this GREAT one . More sensitivities and respect ought to be shown towards thyroid patients needs needs to be considered . We are all here together to navigate our not so easy thyroid journey
I really hope l am not one of the culprits! I did get in a terrible tech mess and deleted something that was cluttering up the forum. I think i talked to you about it first. Also if l have deleted things by mistake l apologise. I am useless at tech. Ask Louise re docs and dogs! Seriously though if l am in any way guilty it is due to incompetence not rudeness or infestations I have learned so much from you all and am l think inching closer to taking control of this thyroid mayhem. Go. Gone on holiday Sigh! But Def feel there is hope a after so much despair. And l do appreciate all the work that you all do. Maggi the techno phobe
Some members delete their posts when they have the replies they want and some delete their account which deletes all their posts and then re-join when they have another query. It's those members who are ticking us off.
