Very new to this.

Recently was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and hashimotos.

TSH: 27.3

And high antibody levels .

Sunptoms of fatigue, and what seems like sinus and head pressure, and just over all not feeling well. On 75mcgs of Levothyroxine. Just wanted some tips and input. I'm scared and anxious over all of this. Thanks.

Well you are getting there. TSH is very high, so I assume they are doing bloods every six weeks. Make sure you get the blood test first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and only drink water, no caffeine.

Get them to also test B12, Vit D, folate and ferritin as these can all get low and will affect the way you process the levo thyroxine.

Some people with hashimoto's find that going gluten free helps them, although it's very early days for you, so try things one at a time.

75 mcgs is still a low dose, but if you get to 250 and still have symptoms then time to go gf and maybe investigate options.

Most important thing to know is how to take levo : on an empty stomach, with a large glass of water, at least one hour before food or any drink except water; two hours before other supplements or medication; four hours before iron, calcium, vit D or oestrogen; six hours before magnesium. That way, you will get maximum absorption.

When you go for a test, make sure it's as early in the morning as possible - at least before 9 am - and fast over-night, just drink plenty of water. Leave a 24 hour gap between your last dose of levo and the blood draw.

Avoid unfermented soy like the plague - which means cutting out most processed foods, because they're full of it : soy flour, soy protein, soy milk, soy oil. Always read the labels! :)

Thank you guys so much. Just really wanted to make sure my symptoms are normal. I'm 21, and feel 70. It's all so new and kinda just hit me out of the blue one day. But thank you thank you.

ALSO, my doctor recently had me stop taking my medicine because I was feeling TERRRRRIBLE after taking it for a week. It began to give me symptoms of HYPER not hypo, Like I am. My symptoms have gone down a LITTLE and we will recheck my bloodwork in a couple weeks. And if it goes back higher he will put me back on it. Kind of a trail and error situation. Is this normal?
