Hello I am now on 4 grains of thiroyd 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. here are my latest results, just wondering if you think I should lower my dosage ?? Also as i self treat do i need to stop before I go in hospital for an operation Thank you

TSH 0.013 0.27/420

T4 14.45 12.00/22.00

T3 4.54 3.10/6.80

How long did you leave between last dose and blood draw?

I don't feel hyper tho as I was hyper before my partial thyroidectomy, feel great x

If you left 24 hours between last dose and blood draw FT3 is probably around 5.45 which is excellent.

I think you'll have to mention at the pre-op that you are taking thyroid replacement because otherwise anaesthetist may think you are hyperthyroid with suppressed TSH 0.013. It might be helpful to take the results with you to show that FT4 and FT3 are within range.
