Does anyone have any recent experience with the Mexican source as I was on their website and you can pay by credit card on there now (some said you had to use a separate site) but no padlock and warning on screen that site was insecure freaked me a bit?

Other members who have knowledge will respond. I think you did the right thing by checking first. We cannot always tell what is an authentic site so we have to be very wary indeed.
