Hi, I was diagnosed with an under active thyroid in January this year. On 100mg Levo, still working through to get to the optimum level with my doctor (last reading was 4.2, when I was increased to 100mg).
However I have been suffering from bad heartburn, which I now believe to be low stomach acid. Is there some form of tablet I could take to help me?
Thanks for any advice.

Llogan - Betaine HCL with Pepsin taken during a meal containing protein, with plenty of water. Alternatively some of us do better with Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with Mother, make into a drink with water, sweetened with honey to taste. Drink immediately before a meal, through a straw to protect tooth enamel. Build up the amount of ACV gradually, maybe start with one teaspoonful in a mug of water, build up to one tablespoonful.
You can also try digestive enzymes, they worked very well for me . I am hypo and have suffered from slow digestion for years. Try enzyme combo that contain papain and bromelain. You can get a good blend from mercola.com.
