It's almost a month since I started taking T3, and I'm just posting an update to encourage those struggling on Levothryoxine alone to try Liothyronine (T3) if their blood tests suggest they might benefit from it.
It's still early days but I feel brighter, in less pain, and am not braindead or desperate to sleep all day. I still need my ME/ CFS naps, but am able to function better around them.
I'm not there yet, but in the last couple of days I've had a glimmer of what could be - which is infinitely more than the helplessness I felt for the years I knew my thyroid wasn't working, yet didn't know how to address it.
Thank you all for your support. I will continue to post my progress, not least because I'll need help deciphering my updated blood tests in a few weeks!
Have a good weekend.
Abi.
