Been taking quarter of a pill T3 for a week and want to increase to half a pill. Can I just take it first thing with my levo as I have been or shall I take a quarter am and a quarter pm? What's best when increasing?

Beenies,

I would take the extra 6.25mcg at bedtime.

I take both mine all at once, early morning. Suits me better than night-time.

Thank you! I guess it's different for everybody. Is it more gentle when you increase to take it in 2 doses?

I take my T3 (also a quarter pill) twice a day: once with my Levothryoxine in the morning and then on its own at bedtime.

As far as I understand it, this is because T3 has a short half-life/ duration of effectiveness.

I have also noticed it works better, though this could be the placebo effect!

I am working up to a third (quarter pill) dose which I will also space throughout the day.

Not what you're looking for?
