Does anybody else on this forum get a bit cynical about all the American chiropractors who call themselves doctors, wear white coats & often have stethoscopes round their necks on their Youtube videos & the photos on their websites?
Even though the NHS & qualified GPs & endocrinologists are letting us down so badly,I still worry that desperate people are manipulated into parting with large amounts of cash for the summits, courses & supplements they sell, believing they have medical qualifications that they don't.I feel its a bit manipulative verging on dishonest.
This is not to say that many of the presentations have very good free information about auto-immune illness on them.

Me. Not to say that some without any medical qualifications ( our admins and many long standing and regular posters here at HU TUK ) give sound advice to many...but have no cure all supplement, one-time offer or life-saving ebook to flog
Any person who is set up as any form of medic seems to have difficulty in saying "I don't know." Lots here don't like saying it - simply because it doesn't provide the much-needed help - but don't have the egos and arrogance issues, and financial imperatives, that stop them doing so.
I think chiropractors in the US are more than just the back doctors they have in the UK - they seem to be more like functional medicine practitioners. Yes, there are an awful lot of them jumping on the "Ler's do an Internet seminar" bandwagon, but I bet a lot of our doctors would do that if they thought they could get away with it (or that anyone would listen to them).
