Liothyronine France

Does anyone know if you need a prescription to buy Liothyronine in France? I know someone who is going there soon and if available over the counter they could get me some.

Officially T3 is prescription-only in France. However, a very, very few people have managed to get T3 without one - I don't know where or how!

Ask your friend to try a few different pharmacies. The one in our village gave me one pack but said I need a prescription next time. A week later I tried a different place and it was given without any mention of a prescription. It will probably have to be ordered. If it is the morning, it will come that same day, late afternoon. Brilliant service! Good luck. It is about 3 euros.

I buy it every month without a prescription. Sometimes I am asked for one and I state that I haven't got one, the pharmacy just order it anyway. I bought two boxes last Friday.

I forgot to mention it costs 6.92 euros for two boxes of 30 tablets. They will probably have to order it in the morning for collection the same afternoon.
