Hello all - can anyone recommend a good and sympathetic dr who will treat my symptoms (one that will not keep telling me they are all in my head!) in or around the Aylesbury area....
Thank you Chris
If anyone can recommend a GP in Aylesbury please respond via private messages.
You are undermedicated on 100mcg Levothyroxine to have TSH 4.6. Ask your GP to increase dose. The goal of Levothyroxine is to restore the patient to euthyroid status. For most patients that will be when TSH is 0.3 - 1.0 with FT4 in the upper range. FT4 needs to be in the upper range in order that sufficient T3 is converted. Read Treatment Options in thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/about_... Email louise.roberts@thyroiduk.org if you would like a copy of the Pulse article to show your GP.
You can also point out that you have taken advice from Thyroid UK recommended for Thyroid Dysfunction by NSH Choices-Rhyroid U.K. run this forum and lots of good info on their site.
