Could someone kindly PM me where best to get some T3. I have been advised to add T3 to my T4 as I am not converting properly. I am not sure quite how this works what is the proportion I should take of T3 to T4. Is there a link somewhere? I am presently on 50 Levo and my blood results read as follows:
TSH 3.670 (0.270-4.200)
Free T4: 23.14 (12.00-22)
Free T3: 4.3 (3.1-6.8)

High TSH and high FT4 is a little strange but I don't think you have a conversion issue. As FT4 is already over range it will be better to add T3 to your current 50mcg dose. I suggest you start by adding a quarter tablet (6.25mcg) to see how you tolerate it. I would hold at 6.25mcg for 6-8 weeks and retest before increasing futher.
