Either one - it doesn't matter much. However, if you decide bedtime dosing, and you are having a blood test next morning, you have to miss the night dose and take after early a.m. blood test which should be fasting (you can drink water) and take it afterwards. You can take night dose as usual that same day.

Thanks, will try and remember the fasting

If you eat before test it can skew your results.

Wasn't aware of that the last time I was tested. How does it effect your results? Make them higher or lower? 😮...

It lowers TSH which isnt a good idea if you are hoping for a dose raise or sometimes just keep the dose you are already on

If you do take your levo at night remember to leave at least 4 hours after eating, especially if you have a meal heavy in protein or calcium or you may not absorb your meds fully.

Its good incentive to stop evening snacking though 😜

Night time seems to get the vote when this has been mentioned before, poisbly as being asleep we absorb better and I found a slight improvement doing that but we eat salt in the evening g so I welcome a light supper before I turn in and so couldn't do that so went back to morning. Personal preference really.
