Haven't posted for ages, but just got my latest blood results and I'm quiet happy, felt better tbh honest except for struggling to get up & palpitations
TSH 1.72
Free T4 15.2
Vit B 428
Folate 2.72 (low end) I know I need to restart my folic acid tablets....
Just waiting on my Vit D levels, but actually feel good as it's taken 6yrs to get to this stage

Hi there, you need to write the ranges after test results (numbers in brackets after the results) as different labs use different ones. Going by often used lab ranges, there's prob a little room for an increase to your thyroid meds as most feel better if tsh is under one and a higher T4 level. How long did you leave it between your last dose and blood test? You could also look into getting a private T3 test as GPs won't normally do this
It's been 4 months this time and 25hrs between last dose and blood test, my results are purely NHS ones... I should invest in a T3 one, but when I have free money to do that tbh... I'll get a print out of my levels for range clarification when I pop in to the surgery, it's taken 5yrs to get my surgery & 3rd doctor to listen. I was told no further treatment on my vitamins, but the folate is low end and palpitations have started again and the tiredness so a repeat for folic acid again 🙈
Post all your vit levels in a new post also as Docs are often pants in this regard and people here will advise if optimal or not.
Yeah we all understand your struggles with them so you're not alone lol
No free T3 results? What about ferritin? TSH Still slightly above the recommended 1 or less. But you need to post all your nutrient levels and all ranges (in brackets) for feedback. And your dosage as well.
I must admit I forgot to get a blood count this time, and my results are purely NHS ones... I should invest in a T3 one, but when I gave free money to do that tbh... I'll get a print out of my levels for range clarification.
I suggest you get methylfolate and methylcobalamin for B12 as they work together. Yes, it would be great to see your FT3 level as it can be quite different from FT4.
