Who said that at the surgery? Was it the receptionist or GP? This is not true it has been available since March 2015. Pts can be refused if they may come to harm by seeing records or if there are third party references which need to be removed. What does their website say about medical record access. Would you be able to tell me which practice in confidence?

Hi DJR1

I had to telephone my surgery last Friday re: getting my blood test results (I have access to booking appointments and prescription requests but that's all). I casually asked if they were planning on giving on line access to blood test results and full medical history etc. the reply was probably not. I then teleponed NHS England and asked for their advice, they said that it was up to the surgery and all I was entitled to is booking appointments and prescription requests.
