I was having lots of hypothyroidism symptoms but my bloods came back normal! I've been back to the doctors a couple of times since, once because of my low heartrate. It drops to 43 and I go light headed. My average resting beat is 57. The doctor didn't seem concerned and said I'm suffering from anxiety!!
I do get anxious about my symptoms but I wouldn't say I'm really anxious. I feel like I'm hitting a brick wall. Any advice on what tests I should do? Should I worry about the low heartrate? When I read the list of hypothyroidism symptoms I fit lots of them.
Many thanks

Hi. Sorry to hear you are not getting the help from your Dr. For 3 years I was like you and told that I was normal. One day I asked what the normal range was and it was 0.27 to 4.2. My reading was 0.75! I lost my rag and informed my Dr that being at the low end wasn't normal for me. He condescended to give me 25mcg Thyroid and after 2 months increased it to 50mcg. I did have to be very insistent and it's probably on my notes that I upset the receptionist, nurse and him when I lost my rag. Try asking what your reading is? It is an uphill battle and I do find some Drs are more knowledgable than others. Good luck.
Thanks for your reply. I'm going back next Friday to another doctor (an older one so hoping she has more knowledge!) I will ask exactly what my results were and go from there!
Hi I went to the doctors on Tuesday she wasn't concerned with my results or bradycardia. My nose is blocked all the time on one side and was more concerned with that.
I asked what exactly my results were and she just said all in the normal range and changed the subject. Went on to tell me I'm just stressed and suffering from anxiety.
I'm seeing another next Friday so I'll try and get the numbers from her! Fingers crossed
Saw a different doctor on Friday. She was much better my results were perfect showing no signs of thyroid issues. However she said she was puzzled as I've got classic thyroid symptoms. She sent me for more bloods and I'm having an ecg on Friday. I feel like I'm getting a little further.
Is it possible for my bloods to be fine and still have a thyroid problem? If my results come back ok again where do I go from there? Thanks for everyone's replies
