Alcohol

Hi guys,

I'm just wondering whether people have found a link between alcohol and their hypo symptoms.

I've been drinking quite a lot recently (not binging but more frequent) and have noticed symptoms to be worse - hair loss, achy arms etc.

I'm off for the blood test later this morning to check what's going on but I suspect it won't come back with anything suspicious and am starting to think it's alcohol.

Any thoughts would be appreciated

I find it makes my symptoms worse, so only allow myself a small glass of wine now and again.

I used to really enjoy a bottle of spirits on special occasions but have lost interest in the stuff since losing my thyroid gland. It didn't particularly cause hypo symptoms, it just didn't taste nice any more. Now drink just fruit juices.
