Hi folks, quick questions. Can nodules apear like they have grown in size if you are tired, stressed etc? I certainly think mine seems gets bigger if i am very tired and also if i exercise it seems to get bigger for a few days and then goes back it the regular size.
Ps. I not currently on any meds and have not been diagnosed with thyroid problem although i do have nodules proved by ultrasound and fine needle biopsy.i have lots of symptoms but bloods all seem good.
Thanks

I have a 'huge' multi-nodular goitre and am awaiting a total thyroidectomy. It has been cancelled twice. The first time was because one of the two surgeons fell ill. The next was cancelled because the surgeons took a second look at my ct scan and realised that the nerves that control my tongue might get damaged during the op. They said they would be in touch when they had worked out how to best operate without doing too much damage.
My bloods show t3 and t4 in range with tsh suppressed. I am not on any meds. Apart from my goitre, I feel healthy, which I put down to a whole food plant based diet and an active lifestyle.
You should post all of your blood test results (inc. ranges) and symptoms on this site and ask for advice. What endos and GPs think are 'in range' are not necessarily optimal hormone levels.
