T4 1.43 0.89-1.76

now i m currently on 125 for about 5 weeks.How is possible in just one month for tsh to go from 5,4 to 0,5?i just dont get how easy can tsh change?

Also why is my period messed up and my hair fall more and more if tsh is ok?

i also want to know what my dose should be..i hope my edno will not lower again to 50 levo like he did in the past because he thought that i was still hyper after my surgery.

i have my dose changed multiple times in just half a year and i think this is worst for my health.

Why is your period still messed up despite your low TSH? Because the TSH has nothing to do with your periods. Once you are on thyroid hormone replacement, the TSH is irrelevant. And if your endo thinks it is relevant, he knows nothing about thyroid. If he suggests reducing your dose, just refuse. He's there to advise you, not dictate to you.

It's low T3 that causes symptoms, and he doesn't even test it. But, your FT4 is only just past mid-range, so your FT3 is probably low. Depends how well you convert. But, you won't know that without testing both your FT4 and FT3 at the same time, and comparing them. Sounds like you need a new endo.

A month is ample time for TSH to drop after a dose increase. I explained before that hairloss is common when you first start taking Levothyroxine. Now your thyroid levels are better hairloss should start to improve. Any dose adjustments should be small and gradual. Not more than 25mcg up or down at one time or even 25mcg alternate days.

Heavy periods are usually due to low iron. Ask your GP to test iron or ferritin.
