Walking in a stiff breeze is very tiring so I need to find a solution for my flatulence. It is continual. I take 2 x 20 CMZ and beta blockers for hyper. Does anyone know of a remedy please. Many thanks in anticipation. Val

It may be the beta blocker.
Hi silver fairy, would allergy meds help do you think, Val
You could try charcoal. I take Kiki Nature Biotics which stop my bloating. But an elimination diet may be best to see if you can find out what's causing it.
Try good probiotic. VSL#3 are great. Helped me. Cut out fruit apples pears broccoli.. They used to affect me. Now I'm fine. I think probiotic helped
Flatulence is often related to food intolerances or bacterial overgrowth. Doctors can order Hydrogen breath tests to diagnose things like SIBO (bacterial overgrowth) or Lactose intolerance.
Easiest thing to do is make a food diary and slowly identify which foods you need to avoid.
I tend to find that getting more sleep also helps with gut issues but that might just be me.
Val your post made me smile ....... good to have a sense of humour about these things.
I am in agreement with ALL of the above posts, especially trying to find out what is causing the problem in first place.
My suggestion would be to sip ANY drinks that you may take - never gulp, and to eat food slowly, chewing throughly before swallowing. These alone, may be the answer.
Identifying the culprit/s may take some time but worth the effort of focusing on one item at a time, as sometimes 2 items eaten away from each other may be fine, but when eaten together, can cause problems.
Look at ingredient lists on packages and tins.
What works for one person does not necessarly work for another.
Good luck

Thank you all, I have started on Kefir every day now and to cook all fruit, I cannot give them up until I have tried everything else.
Relaxing at the dinner table is also on the agenda, no rushing my meal.
Thanks for the regeim. Val
