I'm on T3 only , 20mcg 4 times a day. 6 am 10 am 2 pm 6pm.

TSH 0.019 (0.35 - 4.5 )

T4 <5.2 (10.5 -26.00)

T3 3.6 (3.9 - 6.8 )

Why is it that I feel so so tired at 12 noon only two hours after my meds.

I sometimes forget the 6 pm dose but even then I don't sleep well.

Have you looked at adrenals? Maybe consider a 24 hour saliva test.

Dr John Lowe was an expert on T3 as he himself took it, He always advised one daily dose and I follow his advice too. I started on 20mcg then after 2 weeks added 1/4 tablet and so on until I am now on 50mcg and have been on this dose for a few years now. Sometimes, if I'm in a hot country I reduce it by 1/4. or 1/2. I have no clinical symptoms.

Dr Lowe said that the T3 has to saturate our receptor cells and it's work then begins by sending out 'waves' which last between one to three days and I'll give you a link.

Also by having split doses it is difficult to time them and your stomach also has to be empty and alarm has to be put on to give us a reminder, so our whole life is surroundedd by meds/times.

I have seen suggestions of taking meds at night if T3 or NDT. I tried it as the suggestion was you slept better which I did but often I fancy a snack as well and so had to stop a night time meds take. Not long after soneone posted a graph on here which showed that the T3 is highest in your body in the very early hours so may be that's why night is the best time to take T3.
