Is that your TSH level and what is the range given by the laboratory? Usually 0.22 would mean Thyroid is mildly suppressed according to our lab. How are you feeling?

What has the doctor told you about these results? Are you taking Levothyroxine? Have you got other blood test results, ie FT4 and FT3? Have you had antibody levels tested?

Always obtain copies of all your results - they are legally yours. This will help you with posting here and enable you to monitor your own health. 😊

You need T3 and T4 with ranges for people to give you any kind of meaningful feedback really... lots of things can make your tsh "suppressed" - the medication you are taking, when you get your blood test done... do you get your blood tests first thing in the morning before medication? Also check b12 and vitamin d... deficiency in those can cause the same symptoms... on a personal note my last blood test showed tsh of 0.04 but my T4 and T3 were mid range so tsh really meant nothing plus I'm on NDT so it will be suppressed anyway

Welcome to our forum,

If you've been diagnosed I am assuming that it is TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) is 22 which would mean you are hypothyroid.

It is a big learning curve if we want to recover our good health. First important point is to always get a print-out from the surgery of your results and the must have the ranges. (Labs differ in their ranges and it makes it easier to comment).

Your doctor should test, as well as TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) T4, T3, Free T4, Free T3 and thyroid antibodies. Many believe TSH and T4 is satisfactory. If GP wont do all of them you can get a private test from one of our recommended labs.

Your GP should test Vitamin B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate.

Also future tests have to be at the very earliest, fasting and if on thyroid hormone replacement (levothyroxine usually) you allow a gap of 24 hours between last dose and test and take afterwards.
