Late thyroxine meds

Hi. Im new here on this topic. I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid when i was 21 ( now 43 ) im currently on 125mcg thyroxine a day. However i do normally take my meds in a morning but on a monday every week when my tablets get delivered they dont arrive till late afternoon 6pm -7pm. This has only been happening for 2 months ( late delivery ) am i ok eating before i take them as i am also anorexic ( 5 '4" and 6 stone ) and what little food i do eat i really do need but find myself not eating anything at all for the day and wait til ive had my meds . Im also on the eating disorder chat so i dont need any advise on that just the thyroxine issue. Thankyou so much for reading and any advise would be very grateful🤔

No. Levo should be taken on an empty stomach, one hour before or two hours after food. It doesn't matter what time of day you take them. I take mine in the early hours of the morning when I need a bathroom trip. Some people take them at bedtime as they find they feel better taking them then. Just make sure it's on an empty stomach.

Why are your tablets delivered weekly? Can't you have them delivered monthly? Most of us have ours on a monthly prescription.

Cos my doctors an arse! I overdosed on pain meds so they wont give me any tablets for more than a week at a time. Thanks for replying
