Lowish T4 and TSH

Any thoughts on these results. I have been back and forth to docs with various problems (gastritis, exhaustion, tingly arms and legs, memory problems) and finally got them to test B12 which is below range. They also tested a few thyroid levels which they say need no action as they are within range. Any thoughts on the below:

B12 170 (187-800)

Folate 7 (3-20)

Ferritin 24 (6-204)

FT4 11.5 (9-19)

TSH 0.93 (0.35-5)

Cortisol 589 (150-600)

I am on a loading dose of B12 but doc says this deficiency is just my age (I am 40...). I don't like knowing the cause of things!

Thanks

Did he test you for Pernicious Anemia? I think the thing about your age is just him making excuses!

Apparently I don't have PA as I am not anaemic...Which I don't think is strictly argurment. It has taken over a year to get the B12 test done though and the GP is not big on finding the cause - have been prescribed anti-depressants for tiredness (not taking them) and compression stockings for dizziness (not wearing them) as well as PPIs for gastritis (also not taking)...

Oh dear, it gets worse, doesn't it! I think you ought to pop over to the PA forum, and see what they think about your B12.

I have been two timing this forum with the PA one. Got lots of good advice on b12 and PA but just wondering if the other results are a cause for concern at all.
