HIDA scan

I'm due for a HIDA scan of my liver on the 30th June. Can anyone tell me if this nuclear injection is going to effect my thyroid. I've hashis and in overactive stage at the moment will this scan make me worse. Thanks

I would ask your doctor as I have graves and had a bad reaction to CT contrast media. It made me feel very hyper for around 2 weeks, I found out it contained iodine which is a big no no for hyper and graves. Good luck

Thanks Karen I've had three CT scans in past year they definitely effect me my levels always drop after them take's me about a week to come right
