Started eating fortified cereal a month ago (iron, b12 & d ) and I've noticed lately that my restless legs have not been hardly in evidence......is there a connection here and has anyone else noticed similar?

Could you check what the fortified vitamins are ?? Which type of VitD and B12 is added and how much ? Sometimes it is the cheapest they can find. What other supplements are you taking ?
I think it could be a coincidence unless you are eating LOADS
2 bowlfulls of Cheerios per day stopped my hair loss. All my vits and mins were top of ranges anyway but this cereal malarkey put an end to exaggerated hair loss. I don't know why or how it works but happy days! My hairdresser thinks I'm crazy but she has noticed huge difference in thickness and quality of my hair and the cereal thing is the only part of my regime I changed.
Restless legs are often helped by raising levels of iron and ferritin (iron stores).
Iron and ferritin get a mention in the Treatment section of the page about restless legs in Wikipedia.

I have also found magnesium and potassium are helpful in eliminating spasms and twitching in muscles. I try and keep my use of potassium down to a minimum though.
Edit : I should point out that I regularly test my iron and ferritin levels privately. I don't supplement blindly.
Thanks for all comments......sometimes if it works I just offer up a big thankyou!
I noticed my restless legs improved after I started taking iron supplement (sachets of liquid iron with apple juice) - occurs much less often now.
