I have been described as having this I'm on 100mg a day all these symptoms every oNe has I don't , weird I know I seem to be putting on weight really struggle to get rid of now I am on a low carb diet been on levo tablets for about 12-18 months being gradually upped in doses how do I loose this extra weight

Do you have any thyroid results with ranges you could share ? Difficult to comment without. Maybe your T3 level is low.

Have you had your levels checked of B12 - FERRITIN - FOLATE - VITD. All need to be optimal for thyroid hormones to work well and for you to feel well.

Dear Marz,

I had Hashimoto two years ago; so, I changed my diet and I could get rid of all medication. Basically, I don't eat any grain at all. I mean, I avoid gluten and gluten-free grains and that is useful for me.

But are still taking thyroxine I hope.

I am not taking thyroxine anymore because the lab tells me that I don't need it.
