Yes, same: 1:300, but I was told this is ok, but that we just need to keep an eye on it. If it goes to over 1:1000 there is a problem ("that would be indicative of an auto-immune disease..." ie the body attacking a certain part of the body other than thyroid gland).
Thank you for replying, he told me mine shouldn't be that high and he is investigating why, mentioned Lupus and other diseases, I'm having more tests on Tuesday so I'll find out what they are now testing.
Hi again. Yes, lupus was mentioned as a possible future alert to me, too, but only if the ANA goes up to over 1000. So yours should not be a problem at your current reading.
Please let me know what the conclusion of your test results is. It seems to me that different GPS have different opinions on this.
Hi yes I will do, I've just been doing some reading and on nearly all the sites I've looked at a reading of 1.320 is high and further tests are needed, I'll let you know once I have my results, my consultant called me at 8am this week to tell me my results and he did mention that the reading of 1:320 is classed as high and he would need to find out why, I've just received a letter this morning that was sent to my GP mentioning Connective Tissue Disease I'll keep you posted.
