Hangover feeling

Hi

Yesterday I had to change my roll in work, we were shorthanded , so me like a fool agreed to do a more physical job, It took everything out of me, I cant eat and my head feels like I've been on a stag night, I feel awful, I think Ive read the body uses more T3 with physical exertion, my eyes hurt. Does anyone know how long this will last?

Thanks in advance

Frank

PS 60 micro grams of T3 only 20 grams 3 times a day

Phronsias,

It could take a couple of days to recover. You could try taking an extra 10mcg today to see whether that helps.

Hi

Thanks for your reply, Do you know the cause? is it I used up too much T3?

Thanks again

Frank

Phronsias,

Probably. Certainly exercise can deplete T3 and it can take a couple of days to recover.

Frank, I had a similar thing a couple of weeks ago where I'd gone for a short 2 mile jog/walk then when I'd got home spent an hour removing a shrub from my garden. I found at the end I had nothing in the tank and felt near to collapse. I thought I would recover like a normal person, but it just never happened, just laid on the settee for 3-4 hours. Next day was back to normal though.

I very often get this and now know I have to pace myself, it usually takes me a day of laying on the couch to get over it. It's so annoying.

Thanks for your replies!!!!!!!!!

It is so easy to think we have lots of energy and stamina. Going all out to get jobs done is the worst thing we can do. Pacing ourselves is vital.

Im the same when do too much (too much by my hypo standards not normal ones!) I get so drained that im just too tired to eat. You would think that this would help weight loss wouldnt you but no , if i have to do extra physical stuff like when i had a temp job for a week , despite not eating i put on weight & a weeks part time work took several weeks to get over. I forget that i need to pace myself better but its hard to remember how ive changed sometimes.

Hi

I received an email from my union rep this morning. he was talking about my employer Endangering the health and well being of someone who is in their charge. I emailed him saying I didn't understand what this is. Does anyone know about the equality act and Endangering the health and well being of someone who is in their charge?

Thanks in advance

Frank
