Excused from Jury Service.

Just thought I would update regarding my recent post about been summoned for jury service.

I filled in the form with all my symptoms and details and sent it back. I have just received a letter to say I have been excused.

I am so relieved.

And I'm relieved not just for you but whomever you might have been tasked with finding guilty or not.

That this was a case of ducking one's civic duty shouldn't enter anyone's mind if they knew what you might go through, in order to perform that duty. So glad there was no rebuttal that your condition could make you an unsuitable candidate.

If I felt well I would have gladly attended, but the way I feel I agree the person in the dock would surely not want me decided his/her future.

Before sending the form back I rang to ask if I needed to send a Doctors letter with it and a very nice young girl, said no need and told me it did sound though I would be excused.

In fact I am feeling I am back to square one with this b...... thyroid.

I am going to post later how I am feeling.

I was excused too just after I'd started on levo which made me even worse!

I phoned them up and told them how I was feeling and they excused me straight away. I'm not sure I could even have stayed awake all day let alone concentrate on evidence.

I wrote on the form I had to ask my husband three time one day what date it was (which is true) so if I could not remember what date it was I could not remember any evidence given.
