Blimey he looks like chewbacca....

I've used non fluoride toothpaste since years, & my family - but actually it's realising that vitamin D is essential for healthy teeth that was the clincher.. no really, it is (& no more fillings!) :D <--- see the healthy grin? x

Oh he is a bit odd but travels the world for remedies. No heard VitD related to teeth. Interesting. l have used the Dulux Spray 3000 for some time and as others had written its stopped falling hair covering coat collars after a week of double doses. l recall now another said it had helped thyroid. From H&B or Amazon

your'e replying on your phone aren't you? It's DLUX spray 3000 iu - great stuff!! .... but not the paint with a large English Sheepdog.... he he!

Interesting it helps your hair loss - I thought that was biotin! (or iron)

It's 'only' my experience that Vitamin D helped my teeth - too late to search pubmed sorry. But my dentist could testify! I started taking it for shin & rib pain one winter & discovered low levels (City assays blood test £28) it's quite common, especially for us 'roidies - my daughter & granddaughter were deficient (below 25 I think).

Hopefully Spring is right round the corner & sunshine is free!

(Sunshine cannot provide Vit D until March in the northern hemisphere).

No it's a deficiency in any of the vitamins we quote here - vitamin D, vitamin B12 and folate- plus iron that can cause hair loss.

Some people, like me, are prone to our hair falling out if anything is slighly wrong with our vitamin or hormone levels. Other people aren't as sensitive to hair loss so they have be severely deficient in any of the vitamins or iron, or have really wonky hormones to suffer hair loss.

I dont expect l used be outside enough. l do have very thick hair and the VitD spray has stopped so much falling out (for about 10 yrs)

Is there one? I just feel so much better than I did, I thought I'd be in a wheelchair by now - instead I'm climbing hills (well, small ones ;) ) but still can't lose weight! :D

Glad to hear you are doing so much better. Weight is a problem, Slimming World was good couple years ago - but put a bit back so hope to go again shortly

I've changed to Kingfisher Fennel fluoride free toothpaste. Bit like brushing your teeth with Pernod! :D

Naturally my hygienist and dentist were horrified.

Thanks l may have used that time ago- good its fluoride free. My dentist is unusually open minded and prefers animals! Like puss - might manage to find photo of my rescue blue girl

Some of the products at the Dentist also contain flouride - I always question and refuse ....

Thanks. Someone just suggested Kingfisher which l will follow. Most Medics are brain-washed not to step out of line or have an opinion of their own, at being sent to Coventry. Look what happened to Dr Andrew Wakefield( who moved to US) - after he exposed the MMR racket. l am sure he was right as young tiny bodies are not able to deal with more than one infection at a time. Makes sense?

I've tried a few, boots non-fluoride, green people, aloe, kingfisher, I use Euthymol, apparently the taste is not good (but luckily I have no taste) it's thyme oil, a mild antiseptic, I'm not sure if it's got SLS in it - my daughter uses a black powder! :D

Kingfisher toothpastes aren't all free from fluoride, you need to check to be sure.

According to their website : kingfishertoothpaste.co.uk/...

"Kingfisher is available in 8 great varieties including Fluoride and Fluoride-Free versions."

Oh - it shows up better which are fluoride free and which aren't on this link :

Recently I had to go the dental hospital and the consultant said that the amount in toothpaste is negligible on the thyroid gland and that I mustn't worry about it damaging me or making me ill.

In fact, as they were testing me for lupus/ sjogrens (dry mouth and vastly reduced saliva can damage the teeth and gums) and they have recommended toothpaste with extra fluoride to protect my teeth.

How can both be right?

The strange thing is that since I've been using the fennel fluoride free 'paste, I don't have so much of that horrid sticky plaque that I have to use the inter-bristle brushes to get rid of....i use the brushes anyway but markedly less gunk getting collected up.

If you have naturally fluorated water that is different. I do not want a by-product of the aluminium smelting process in my body, thank you! ;)

That's interesting and useful. Totally agree with you. Tony Robbins said ?20 years ago that we dont want the iron filings which manufacturers need to dump somewhere (US)
