T3 Convert Tablets ! Will I lose weight ???

Hi there, can anyone please advise if they have had experience with Nutri T3 convert tables, Adrenal Tablets & Thyroid Tablets.

I have just starting taking these along with my 175mcg of thyroxine , I had total Thyroidectomy 9 years ago & have been told by my GP that my resulsts are "normal" for past 9 years even thought i've gained 3 stone ( despite eating Paleo

& going to gym 5/6 days a week ), so I'm feeling tired, fat & depressed for all this time, I finally found a doctor through Thyroid Uk & I'm now on day 3 of my new routine of medication, I feel a bit more energy already , does anyone have experience with what I'm going through ? And will I lose weight ?

Please advise I would love to hear from anyone, thank you :)))))

Sineadkots,

Can you post your recent thyroid results and ranges? Thyroidectomised patients don't always convert sufficient T4 to T3 when taking Levothyroxine only. If your FT3 is low it will be better to add some Liothyronine (T3) to Levothyroxine to raise FT3.

Thank you for your reply, my last tests were "normal" however I feel awful, sorry don't have the exact results , I can't get referred from my GP as my results say normal even though I have private insurance it's a nightmare so I've gone this route :))

Sineadkots,

'Normal' is an opinion and the 'normal' range is very broad which is why it is important to know your results and the range. The Data Protection Act entitles patients to their results and ranges so contact your GP receptionist and ask for a printout of your recent results and ranges and post them in a new question for advice.

Yes I will get results from my private doctor as he did tests, I no the range is wide, he said I wasn't converting my T3 even though my results show I gave enough thyroxine from my medication, so these convert tablets should work I have high hopes at this stage 😔

I just hope with these new supplements will help me ?

Sineadkots,

I wonder why your private doctor didn't prescribe Liothyronine (T3) to add to your Levothyroxine if he thinks you are a poor converter.

I somehow doubt over the counter supplements will be much help but I hope I'm wrong.

Sineadkots,

Well, I hope the supplements help. If not, you might consider buying T3 online and self medicating.

Sineadkots,

If the supplement doesn't work write a new post asking members to send you a private message where you can obtain T3 without prescription. If you include your most recent thyroid results and ranges members will also advise how much T3 to dose.

Sineadkots,

Write a new post because updates are easily missed on Newsfeed.
