overactive thyroid

i was diagnosed with an overactive thyroid in 2010. i have been off and on carbimazole to control this. I have been told that radio-active iodine or surgery are my next moves and i am desperate to avoid this. I meditate daily and this helps with the anxiety. i am thinking of trying supplements. Has anyone got any ideas/ suggestions that has worked for them. I heard that Bugleweed was good??? thanks in advance. x

I'm sorry you've had no replies. Feel free to repost your question.

My understanding is that you can resume Carbimazole when remission fails and you don't have to consent to thyroidectomy or RAI.
