Growth in neck

Hi there, I hope somebody can give me a bit of enlightenment, my left side of thyroid is swollen (right side taken out in 2004 due to adenoma) my blood tests are still showing up as normal so I'm neither under or over active. I'm waiting to hear from the endocrine clinic. My question is, is the growth more likely to be another adenoma.. I was told it could happen in 2004 or am I worrying unnecessarily? Many thanks.

Chantel12,

Rather than guessing whether it is a nodule or goitre why don't you ask your GP to refer you for an ultrasound scan.

I'm waiting to hear from appointment, just thought somebody else had been through a similar thing and put rest some of my anxiety over it.
