Swelling in neck

Hi, I've found a lump on the left hand side of my neck. Recently have been feeling very unsettled and anxious. Does anyone think these are linked?

I don't know, but if I were you I'd be straight to the GP to get the lump checked out!!

Hi, do you have current thyroid problems? I found a lump on my neck, went to docs, had scan and turned out to be a nodule on thyroid gland. Please don't hang about, go and get it checked. I had no symptoms of anything, and never suffered with thyroid issues. Good luck, and let us know how you get on.

Hi, well unfortunately mine showed very early cell changes, I had a total thyroidectomy followed by RAI. This is not to say it happens with everyone with a cyst. Keep well

Hi Devon56, Same symptoms here too...found out I had a cyst which was pushing onto my thyroid hence the tiredness, feeling out of sorts etc etc. Got to have a biopsy on tues and looks like I have to have it removed plus half my thyroid (hope I'm not scaring you my cyst is 2.5cm) Like Orangelady1 says go get it checked out and make sure you get a scan or ultra sound. Hopw all goes well

Thank you Devon56 & Orangelady 1, all went well and I got to see the little bugger on the scan! The aspiration was a bit weird, can't really discribe the feeling....but will have the results hopefully next week.
