Anyone been using thyroid 's for any significant amount of time.
I have been using this since last April and initially felt better but now I have developed headaches and pressure in my ears.
Also has anyone had success with auto immune paleo diet?

Hi Shazbaz, I have been on the AIP since October. I feel loads better but it is not an easy process. I would not have been able to follow it without my husband who did all the shopping and cooking at the beginning as I was too ill.
Re: Thyroid S, Could you post your latest thyroid blood results, including the ranges? You'll get some good advice if these symptoms could be because your dose is not right.
I've taken Thyroid S for about 15 years. I've had no problems at all with it. The only thing really is that I consistently felt at my best with FT3 slightly higher than the top of the range, which tends to worry doctors, as you can imagine. My TSH is 0, and it appears to be permanent. Stopping all meds for 8 weeks still left it there.
Thyroid S has a reputation for including fillers that cause reactions. I haven't knowingly had a problem and when I tried Thiroid I found it weaker. So it might be worth your while trying Thiroid to see if your headaches go.
What I would say is that like anything else, it is possible to have other illnesses than thyroid, even when optimally replaced.
I went to a ketogenic diet three months ago. I have looked at AIP in the past, but wasn't really ready at the time. I feel fantastic, and my migraines/headaches have disappeared. I have had problems with constipation, and have today started to leave out nuts, crucifers and dairy. AIP would also exclude eggs, but allows more natural sugars and carbohydrates. Since sugar(s) are my nemesis I opted for the keto way. Its possible to combine the two of course, but a change to either diet is a huge shock to the mind, so I stuck to just the one. Also my hypo is not due to Hashi's and as far as I know I don't have any AI problems.
As a result of the keto diet I began to feel thoroughly overmedicated. I dropped my dose from 2.25 grains to 1.75 recently and now feel much better. I really need to get myself tested now, but that might be a few weeks away.
Hello
I follow Zoe Harcome's diet. I am usually around 9st 2llb, weight kept creeping up until I became 11st 8llb! At 5' 4" this weight was very uncomfortable for me.
I ate well, the government advice, lots of good quality protein and fruit and veg, exercise too (with very fatigued muscles)!
I discovered Zoe Harcombe from the BBC documentary Fats v's Carbs (I think still on catch up).
Her advice has totally helped me big time. I got weighed this morning and weigh in at 10st 1llb!
I have the usual meals my family have but without the carbs.
Please give her website a look: zoeharcombe.com/
Best wishes. x
