T3 dosage?

I am currently on 125mcgs Levothyroxine daily and now I have my T3 from Greece am about to start that alongside the Levo, any idea of what dosage to start with?

Ninapark You need to start low and go slow. One quarter of a tablet - 6.25mcg T3 - to start, wait a fortnight before considering adding another quarter.

To know whether you need to lower Levo FT4 and FT3 post your results with ranges.

6.25mcg T3 is roughly the equivalent of 25mcg Levo.

These tests were done in USA no T4 done as I can see and also cannot find range for FSH

Unfortunately, your FT3 range doesn't make sense, it's not a range, just a number which is the same as your result. It should look something like 3.1-6.8.

Without the FT4 as well as FT3 it's not possible to suggest what you should take.

And the reverse T3. Why was it done? Has a doctor suggested you might be making rT3. And what is the range? And what is the ratio? When looking at reverse T3 it's the ratio that is important. FT3 and reverse T3 should be tested at the same time to work out the ratio. When the ratio is under a certain number that confirms rT3. I have just done the rT3 test and learned about it.

I'm sorry but I don't have the answers to your questions as I say these tests were done in US and I have taken the numbers from the paperwork

Anyhow I have emailed the Nurse who had organised it all and got a reply from him re dosage so all ok now
