A Miss Wales finalist and cancer survivor has been has been chosen as the face of a charity fashion campaign.

Meredith Isherwood, 23, from Flintshire , was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in June last year.

After undergoing an operation to remove her thyroid and during her treatment, Meredith decided to apply for Miss Wales and for the chance to become and ambassador for the Nightingale House Hospice in Wrexham .

Yes, I do wish her well and hope she is treated optimally. It would be interesting to follow her thyroid journey and hopefully she has a good Endocrinologist.
