Hi well I have started transistioning to NDT from t3 only.On day 3,I have dropped my 0500 10 mcg t3 dose and taking NDT 1 grain instead,I feel sooooo bad worse than usual.My whole body is haywire ,worse when active ,it feels that my cells are in a washing machine and have a strange feeling.Scared and really struggling to continue with this ,just hope it gets better when t4 kicks in.Still taking my 10.00 t3 20 mcg and 16.00 t3 10 mcg ,will reduce by 10 mcg at day 7 and then reduce again in another 7 days and start taking 2 grains NDT.Just weaning off t3 ,Any thoughts ? 1 grain of NDT is equal to around 100mcg of levo. 10mcg of T3 is equal to around 30mcg of levo. so quite a big difference in your early dose.

I think I'd miss the next few doses if I was having clear symptoms.

Some people get confused when some NDTs state 60mg or 65mg or 1 gr which equals approx 100mcg of levo.

Thanks Shaw, but would the t4 part of NDT not have any effect for 4 weeks

It will take 7-10 days for the T4 to be absorbed and start working.
