Hi there,
Please could someone cast an expert eye over my blood test results? I'm pretty happy on the whole, but the folate is high.
Is this ok?
Thanks in advance.

Arab,
Thyroid levels remain euthyroid.
Thyroid peroxidase antibodies can be elevated in Graves Disease. If you didn't have positive Graves antibodies you may eventually become hypothyroid as thyroid peroxidase antibodies are positive for autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's). There is no cure for Hashimoto's which causes 90% of hypothyroidism. Treatment is for the low thyroid levels it causes. Many people have found that 100% gluten-free diet is helpful in reducing Hashi flares, symptoms and eventually antibodies.

VitD, B12 and folate are good. B12 749 isn't too high, particularly if you are supplementing.
