Painful left atm

My 17 year old daughter been complaing for about 3 days ago that her left arm is hurting and cant lift up. The pain is inside her armpit down her arm. Webt to the gp yesterday and she was given antibiotics. The pain has gone worse now with two pink spots on her arm. She cant feel me pintching her but she can feel me from her elbow side down

Has she had her B12 tested? A little more details might help people help you.

Has she any other symptoms-swelling, cut, area hot to touch?

If the doctor has prescribed antibiotics and it has got worse including more symptoms like the loss of feeling I would ring the doctors and explain. They will want to know about the pink spots and loss of feeling. Antibiotics take two days to kick in as a general rule.

Is the loss of sensation i both arms or only in one arm? With B12 deficiency it would be in both. I suggest that since these symptoms are potentially serious and as you have been given no detailed information by your GP I would take her to A&E and get her properly diagnosed.

I get arm pit pain and chest pain too (intercostal rib pain I think its called). It comes and goes and was much worse on Levo. The best thing for me is daily weight training, I'm pretty sure mine is nerve entrapment in my left shoulder, from sleeping on the left shoulder as well as generally loosing muscle condition with age. The muscle keeps the alignment of the joints etc

Just a thought, but does she play video games to any extreme?

I do, I play GTA5 every night and I often get pain right up my arm from strained tendons starting from my thumb. That can last for days, sometimes weeks.

I have no wish or the will power to stop, it's too exciting. Lol
