I saw recently that a well-known company that people were ordering their ndt from had been found to be randomly taking large amounts of money from their bank accounts. Anyone have any update on where I can purchase Nature-Throid or WP throid?

Any Updates on Safe Ordering Ndt in UK?
millefleur40, I don't know anything about this - maybe someone else here does. But for clarity, are you talking about ordering with or without prescription?
Just reordered WP from the US. I pay into a UK account, with my order reference, so no opportunity for the company I use to help themselves.
Only issue so far, is a $20 hike in price post-Trump, on top of the $5 Brexit hike.
You can also pay by cash into the account number then none of your details are involved. My own bank is close by so no trouble to do it this way.
Why not use mastercard or American Express. This is what I used when I was paying. If they do overcharge then you can claim back through the bank very easily with bith thise cards. My bank told me not to pay direct into accounts as there is no redress for example if you dont receive the goods.
Thanks everyone, I have used the particular pharmacy on the two occasions I purchased nature-throid. Didn't have a problem, but reading (I thought on this site, but maybe not then) that this pharmacy had taken money - not at the same time as order either, I wanted to check it out prior to reordering. I think the people got their money back through their credit card companies, but it was the point that someone had used their details at the company. Could have been one rogue person I don't know. I have never used western union or any of these ways of purchase, only credit card or PayPal.
Yes - I can relate to this - ordered my Nature-Throid through one of the two most "recommended on-line Pharmacies" - used by many people on the group. First few times no problem, but my last order was followed by a call from Mastercard informing me of fraudulent purchases on my card - good job their system flagged it up as I had no idea, and would never have known until my next statement arrived. I hadn't used the card for anything else at that time, so it must have been related to the NDT purchase, which routed the payment through some oddball-sounding chinese account. Anyhow, long story short - they knew the activity was fraudulent - the buggers got away with some on-line purchases from a high street chain or two, but were then blocked from any further use. I was re-funded for all monies, BUT, it taught me a valuable lesson. I will never order on-line again from such outlets without third party money-routing as advised by someone else previously. Trouble I found is that some such services want to charge you for the pleasure. Sadly, this whole experience resulted in me giving up on NDT, as constant searching & re-ordering was just too much hassle, and the fraud put the top hat on things (not to mention the on-going cost). I went back to my 100mcg Levo - slightly less satisfactory, but much "easier". I realise this is not an option for many who do need to stay on NDT, so you have my sympathy as it's hassle you can well do without on top of being Hypo. Good luck, and be careful with your on-line transactions. I am very computer -literate, and quite switched-on with on-line security, it can happen to anyone!
Hi
I am at present wondering if I should go back to levo. as I had only had minimal improvement with NDT over levo. and like you say the expense and hassle makes me wonder if it is worth it.
Do you mind me asking did you just go straight back to the dose of levo, you were on before going onto NDT. I am presently on 1.5 grains of NDT and was on 125mcg. levo. before Doctor reduced to 100mcg. It was when he reduced I decided to try NDT.
I am not sure how to change back to levo. I have asked on the forum a couple of times but I do not seem to get many answers.
Hi Lucylocks, Yes, I had a few days without anything, then went straight from 2 Grains back to 100mcg Levo. I know it may not be a good conversion ratio, but I was originally "stable" on 100mcg, I just trialled NDT on the advice of a GP, and slowly titrated up to 2 Grains. I was on NDT for around 9 Months in all, but it seemed to be a constant rigmarole of searching, ordering, paying, waiting for delivery etc. In the end, I'm pleased I chose to go back to Levo as it's so straightforward for me to get it on repeat from my NHS GP. I may not have quite as much energy, but the trade-off is worth it for me. WRT your forum queries - I'm very surprised no-one has offered advice - there are some very knowledgeable individuals on here - they certainly helped guide me through the transition from Levo to NDT. Maybe start a new thread and ask again, I'm sure you'll get some very good advice next time. Good luck!!!!!. ps, I still pay for my full thyroid panel twice yearly (TSH, FT4, FT3, TPoAb, TGAb) - my GP is happy for me to take these results in and she adds these to my NHS "record"
