How do I private message someone ?

Just below the banner at the top of the page you'll see your user name with a small v next to it. Click on your user name and a menu pops up. Click on Messages.

There is a green button near the top of the page to "Compose" a private message. Click on that, and enter the name of the person you want to write to, followed by your message, then Send it.

An alternative way of doing it is to find any post from the person you want to send a message to and click on their name, not yours. In the banner near the top of the page there is a button with the word "Message" on it. Click on that and create your message. The person you want to send a PM to already has their name filled in.
