High blood sugar can make you hot and sweaty, as can too high thyroid hormones.

Welcome to our forum treasa

You must be feeling quite poorly at present after your heart operations and you will probably feel a lot better when you've recovered.

However, with regard to your hypothyroidism if you've not had an up-to-date blood test, make an appointment with the surgery to have a new one. If you've had one, ask for a print-out with the ranges and post them.

The appointment has to be the very earliest possible and it should be fasting although you can drink water.

Leave about 24 hours between your last dose of levothyroxine and the test and take it afterwards.

I see your are getting B12 injections every two months, so do you also have Pernicious Anaemia or just a very low B12 in your blood?

Ask doctor to check your Vitamin D leve, iron, ferritin and folate. These need to be at an optimum.

Get a print-out of your blood test results with the ranges and make a new post for responses.

Shaws has good advice. Perhaps you need to change your dose or even lower it if you are taking thyroid hormone.
