Hi - I have hashi and have read that selenium could help. I have bought some at 200 Mcg and hoped someone could tell me how much to take.

Hi Ali8655,

I have Graves (in remission at the moment) and also mild Thyroid Eye Disease. Two years ago I saw an eye specialist who recommended I take a 200mcg of selenium daily to help with the symptoms. He told me that it was as good as anything he could prescribe, and indeed it had been. I still take it daily, along with other supplements to keep my antibodies down, and hopefully ward off another episode of active Graves.
