I use Swanson for one particular supplement and I'm happy with it. On the whole I'd say they are OK, check the ingredients for anything you want to avoid.
anyone had any experience with oxford vitality?
I've not used them. I can't see 'bioavailable', 'wholefood', 'food state', 'bioactive' or similar wording in their descriptions which is something I always look for. One of their supplements is the cyanocobalamin form of B12 which should be avoided naturalnews.com/032766_cyan... and their D3/K2 combo contains K2-MK9 where it's MK-7 (preferably) or MK4 we should have.
Which supplement in particular are you thinking of?
I am giving Oxford Vitality a go.
They do all forms of MK and you can buy it combined with D3 or on its own. At the moment I'm trying to increase my D3 levels which remained pathetic after the summer so I have got the K2 MK-7 100ug on its own and am using it with Jarrow's D3 5000iu. I shall test again in February and if alls well I have OV's D3+K2 MK7 ready on hand.
The company supplies MK in all forms and there are a couple of strengths. Just read the product description carefully.
I am also trying their methylcobalamin 1000ug but it is not sublingual so I will see on my next test if it has been absorbed or not.
The reason that these are a good price is because they come in a sealable packet rather than a bottle with a fancy label. It also makes them easy to deliver, simply in a jiffy bag with your regular post. You can then decant them into whatever you wish.
I find their website a tad confusing but if you order via Amazon it's much easier to see the strength and quantity varieties.
I have read somewhere that they are helpful if you email them but I haven't done this.
