Sharp shooting pains on random places

Does anyone here get sharp shooting pains on random places (even eyeballs), like someone is doing Voodoo on them? does anyone know what this is and what might help?

Hi oobie I do quite often, it drives me up the wall,& I always say sure someone has a voodoo doll of me lol, I'm thinking it is neuropathy tbh.

Unfortunately I haven't it does worry me when it happens I've told my gp & rheumatologist they gave me plaquinel but they made me very sick,I think it's the condition I have, aps & underactive thyroid.

Hm I Was wanting to try plaquenil... How did it affect you?

Hi,feeling sick mostly but because I keep having flairs I'm going to try plaquinel again but first I will ask my gp for some antisickness, give it ago it may not affect you that way.

Have you had your B12 tested? Low B12 can cause this kind of nerve pain. I got it a lot before I started supplementing, used to get it in my face occasionally, hands and feet a lot! Very rarely I get it now my levels are good x

I'm definitely going to ask about this, yes I get the pricking and tingling in my face, legs arms etc,thankyou for this.

No worries :-) I used to get it before I had any hypothyroid symptoms..always wondered what was causing it. Wasn't until I found this group that I realised!

I'm already supplementing with methylcobalamin (sublingual). This gets worse everytime I try raising t4, together with massive hair loss. I'm starting to wonder if it's a Zinc deficiency. ...

Yes! I was getting that really bad a couple of months ago. It stopped when I cleared the candida though. R xx
