I have heard this before about EBV and autoimmune. Haven't read your link yet though. Yes, I have had EBV and many years after infection it still came up in blood tests. The immune system is such a complex thing. Maybe one day the medics/scientists will know enough to cure people.

Forgot to say that autoimmune diseases 'run' in my family so not necessarily EBV the cause.

I do believe there's something in this - I read the book and everything I've ever had wrong with me was in there! I too had glandular fever at 19, and EBV showed up in blood tests a few years ago, so it makes perfect sense to me. I did 23 days of his 28 day cleanse: felt so much better after the first couple of weeks, then started going downhill again so I stopped. Then I went on holiday: felt great in the sun, but am feeling rubbish now I'm back, so need to get back to this diet, or a slightly lesser version of it. Too hard to eat all this cold food in this weather!
