Are you sure that you have exhausted all the other options ? Are your vitamins and minerals all at optimal levels and are you taking your levo on an empty stomach or two hours away from food ?
Armour Thyroid is just one of a number of dessicated thyroid products...you've settled on the most expensive one to try first - are you sure ? Even the pharmacy I use for my NDT mentions that Armour has increased in price and reminds me that it's a USP product (the strength is the same, just the fillers differ)...then there's the exchange rate which is dire at the moment...the cost fo international shipping and handling and customs charges.
It could be with a look at your latest bloods some of the wise contributors here would be able to steer you in a less expensive direction - post your bloods and what you've tried already on your profile - you're as anonymous as you want to be, here. What does your GP say ?

Hello people, thanks for your kind reply. I had TT surgery and now I'm followed by a specialist who gave me prescription of Armour (I'm not working on T4, and T3 have heart problems) I live in Ireland and today I went to the pharmacy and discovered that 100 pils of Armour 30gr are between 130 and 170 Euros.... I simply was looking for a cheaper alternative, Many thanks
Well, Armour is the most expensive brand of NDT. Can your pharmacist source an alternative brand, like Erfa or Naturethroid, both of which are sometimes prescribed in the uk.
Worth asking the pharmacist, or getting another prescription. All contain roughly the same amounts of t3 and t4.
If you are better on the prescribed stuff above, then you will have a bench mark and will be able to look for other cheaper brands to see if they suit as well......

Another natural desiccated thyroid (NDT) product is Thyrovanz, bovine from New Zealand. Google for buying thyrovanz near you.
My body tended to have heart palps and high TSH (bad) 3-4 where on Armor 90mg my TSH is in the good range < 1.0. But as with adding some iodine I may not have stayed on thyrovanz long enough to let settle in. I may have only tried it for little over a month and got my own blood test from lifeextention.com (you may have any blood test lab near you).
I too am frustrated with $111 for 90 pills of 90mg of Armor and will give thyrovanz another try.
